Anyone who has taken the test ?

- What documents did you take ?
- What questions did the CO ask ?
- Did you take a bag with you and a pen/pencil ?
They provide a pencil. You don't need to take one.

You can take a bag. We were allowed to keep them near us during the test (closed, under our chair on on a chair next to us, so out of immediate reach). You can take your phone, but it'll need to be switched off during the test (and should be on silent during the interview).

You should take all the documents they list on the invitation, the originals for the documents you sent copies of with your application (look at the checklist that's part of your application). This includes ID, PR card, proof of language knowledge, passports, etc.

One thing that is not on the list but that I was asked for was my health card.

If you have stamps that are not in English or French in your passport taking translations can be useful (This has been discussed on the forum before; search for "translations" and "stamps" or so in recent posts to find those discussions).

The interview tends to be about employment/school and travels. Sometimes other topics come up, I understand. Searching the forum for "interview questions" or so may find you other people's experiences.
