you are all very kind. here is a bit of history

I work in ADNOC (the national oil company of UAE) in corporate planning and budget section. our daily activity is nothing crunching numbers and developing forecasts.

the VO was somewhat pre determined not to get me through, he did not ask for any documentation and when I highlighted he unwillingly took in my JD. the questioning started with bit of my history, I am a qualified CPA, ACMA, LFA and a masters in strategic management.

he asked me what I do, I explained a bit of my current role. my information was bit technical as well because it relates to oil and my previous role for automotive sector.

anyways at near end of the interview he said "we had a concern about your application as not in line with NOC 1112 and I am not satisfied with your responses" I responded in asking which area can I explain further, he said " your answers are broad" I replied I am only answering your broad level question do you have any specific questions to ask for example you asked about capital management, do you want me to explain about individual perspective a corporate perspective or any product portfolio do you have in mind where I can be more specific....he had nothing to say......

he was typing everything I was saying, I asked him if you can read through what you have written !!! he had a good typing speed but when he started reading I felt the writing was very fragmented and not making any sense......I did make sense!!!!

well our interview last for more than one hour and 10 minutes!! I kept explaining and he kept writing...at the very end may be because he did not want to give a bad feeling he said we will review and get back to you. at that moment he threw away my paper under his desk like rubbish. I said these are originals if he be kind enough to return and take photocopies instead...which he agreed !!!

so this is the unbiased version of the story. what I feel strongly is that we were not able to connect or may be I was too focused on explaining what I knew rather than what he wanted to listen....!!

I think the decision is final at his end, it was more or less the same case at the start of the interview ............. but this is all very confusing why did CIC accepted my application and why I was sent a confirmation letter. then all of a sudden an interview which was of the generic requirement as was sent o you all.....

I will request for a judicial review of the application and the scenario !!

let me know your thoughts !!

This is really bad danish. Dont loose ur hope. The worst part of the story is he threw ur papers.
Shoot an email straight away to the minister. And explain the story. Guys (awai ali) what do u think?

Frustrating on VOs part. really bro you should speak with a good lawyer and raise voice against this.
I hope VO will re-evaluate your case and get you through inshAllah!!!

Thank you guys for all your help and support

In my opinion don't act as of now. Let them reply officially first with their concerns then based on that take next action whether to file petition etc.
All the best.

As I have read cases where vo refused in the interview then send medicals too after few months.

I second that. its not over until the fat lady sings.

Have patience.

You are absolutely right, I will wait for the official confirmation and then we must act.......

he said 5-6 weeks is the waiting period!

Don't u guys think waiting for VO refusal letter could be avoided if he makes a written complaint (what happened during the interview between him and the VO) now to LVO. As I understand, the VO will be consulting with other VO's in London. I have a friend who ordered for his GCMS note and found out that VO had concerns with his work documents, so interview was imminent. He was able to avoid the interview by providing additional documents to prove the existence of his place of work. Let Danish take the fight to them before they decide in 5 weeks time. My opinion.

I am sure I read somewhere that sometimes they conduct stress interviews for highly qualified applications to ensure the quality assurance of interviews waiving. But the way you describe it is so shocking!
I would say you have to stay strong and focused, as soon as possible write a plea and support it with as many relevant documents as you can.
Don't wait for their reply.

ALL THE BEST :)

+1 for you

If i am not wrong, we are still waiting for an update from one more candidate who had attended the interview today. Hope it has gone well.

In my opinion danish should wait for actual decision ......im in the same line.......so here is brother Nkalra he is very kind to speak talk to him he will make you calm ........refusal is not easy for visa office ....he has to get back and sum up the summary of interview will get time to make decision ......visa officer are very carefull in refusal because they know applicant may put up appeal and if applicant win this add a negative point to their job profile .......so till the time pray ........and hope for the best same happened with he did not bother to check documents which i prepared in a month but at the end i offered him do you want check my education etc he said no im happy with those ........so do not worry and hope for the best and i just to you please make a phone call to Nakalra

Dear All

I lived in UK for one year (2011) and currently I am in Pakistan.I have not submitted my PCCs for UK and Pakistan. I have received PER on 11 July 2013 under NOC 2147.

Is PCC required in interview?

Should I arrange them now from UK and Pakistan now or wait for my interview call as it expire in one year?
