I was trying to evaluate two apartments I own in my home country and take this evaluation report with me "as a plus" as some one here mentioned.
I found that it would cost me around 1000 CAN to get a certified evaluation report which is very expensive.
I consulted my consultant who advised me that its not required "You do not need to provide an evaluation report, nor does anyone need to stamp any of the documentation."

In the interview docs, No. 14 mentioned:
Proof of sufficient settlement funds currently available and readily transferable to Canada and other financial assets and liabilities, such as personal income tax statements, investments, deeds, property evaluations and mortgages;

Proof of fund is clear but property evaluation??? do we have to pay that much to get an evaluation of the properties or the translated contract of ownership is ok.

Or the whole thing is silly, really :)

Well I take this statement as optional. Since you have already showed the enough balance to get PER.
Now showing additional property papers or evaluation is just one extra step you are taking to make your application strong, it is no where mentioned that it is mandate to have the property evaluation.
I will be just taking the sale slips paid to the broker to get my flat in my home country plus title deeds and other legal papers.

Then I will not go for costly evaluation and will take the original contracts translated. thats it

A question to all the persons who are going to appear for interview or others if they have experience on this.

What set of documents to take along with for proving relatives in Canada. As they have mentioned in the starting we have to take originals of every document if not submitted before.

The following document I have submitted last time with initial app.

1. My brother's and his wife's PR card copy
2. Father's passport copy to show common father
3. Brother's letter of employment from his company in Canada
4. Last 3 months utility bills

Now my question is how it is possible to take my brother's PR card n passport for the sake of interview.
So is this fine if I again take the copies of the below mentioned documents.

where r u guys???

Your spouse and any additional dependants, if you have them, are not required to attend the
interview unless specified otherwise.

Have you guys used the filled / old Schedule A which sent with the app or you re filled it again ? because the form has not changed so we can use the provided form if the details have not been changed

Soundless,

I observed that whoever is asked to submit updated Schedule A Background Declaration form by LVO, it is advised to provide details from the age of 18 for the question number 8 & 12 without leaving any gap. I believe, most of us followed the instructions given on the form (age of 18 or last 10 years whichever is most recent) and provided for last 10 years. You guys may think to update this form by providing details for question number 8 & 12 from the age of 18. This is just my opinion; you guys may decide if you want to update or not.
