Interview call at Canada Embassy Delhi

I submitted my fiance's application for TRV on 5th March 2018. She got a message today in her account for an interview at Delhi Embassy on 12th April 2018.

I wanted to ask:

1) What happens during the interview?
2) Do they tell about approval at the spot?
3) If yes, then do they keep the passports?
4) If they don't tell anything on spot then how long do they take to reach a conclusion?
