Every thing is possible especially if the VO wants to confirm certain thing in your document. This could happen untill you receive the PPR.

yes it's possible interview after Medical and before passport request, I don't trustany VO as per they mentioned the system untill I get my visa on hand.

My case was reject after medical so interview definitely possible, I see few people they have interview even after passport request, so believe me everything is possible.

Yes vo can call for interview even after medicals.

Yes, It is there and interview is scheduled for minor things, like they have doubt regarding marriage or any other clarification with medicals, etc. In 99%, rejection is not there at this point in time.
