how you met, when you met, what he like to do, what you do together, where he works, how much he earns, the name of his working place, previous work place, his family birth dates where he lives in canada, address, benefit and more. i was asked all these questions dont worry you will do ok, be prepared, and you will get your visa same day.

she asked five things i liked about my husband, where he lives, what is his hobbies, what he is doing when he is not working.
where he work and how long he has been working there, birth dates families and himself
when we met, how we meet, when he proposed, how the relationship developed,
do you know why you are here?

when was the first contact with your wife?

how did you meet her?

who made the first contact?

what is your wife's name?

what do you call her? (I think this was because in all our emails he calls me val but my full name is valerie)

how old is your wife?

when is her birthdate?
where does your wife work?

what does she do there?

she's lived in different countries, what has she done there?

do you know your wife's family members?

what contact have you had with them?

have you travelled together?

where did you travel together?

did you have a honeymoon?

your wife is divorced, right?

it hasn't been very long since you met each other, but you decided she would come and visit you very soon after you first met online (4 months). why so fast? how did that happen?

what happened when she visited the first time?

why were you so rushed to be married? how do you explain that?

your wife is older than you, can you explain that?

(this led into a bit more of a discussion about our age difference and whether we had discussed how it could affect us etc., it was the most nerve-racking part of the interview because it took on a more serious tone but my husband was strong and spoke from the heart with conviction and they accepted his response- this was clearly the biggest concern)

what do your family members do for work (brother, sister, parents)?

what do you do for work?

noticing our receipts for sending money back & forth:

does your wife send you money because you need it?

did you send her money for the same reason?

do you have family in canada?

are you still in contact with them?

You are normally advised in writing if its short notice maybe a phone call followed by a letter

They let you know if you should bring in additional proof to show your relationship is genuine and anything else that may help, they will not tell you what they will ask however the questions are based on your application you submit

An interpreter is provided should 1 be needed you cannot just bring your own interpreter day of as they will not be accepted so if english or french is not your native tongue or you are fluent its advisable to select interpreter requested

I think it also helps to have a plan when you get to Canada. It is important that you will adapt easily, like talk to your wife/husband about where u think u are going to try to get a job, what kind of job etc
IThey will also ask you about children , what are your plans etc if you might not be able to have ( because of age difference they will ask you about that too)

Yes, it was the case of my husband in Morocco. The VO called him on June 27 of this year and he had an interview on the phone. At the end, he was asked to pay for permanent residence fees. Then, on August 26 he received another phone call from the visa office. He was asked for his email address so they could send him an email. The email was a letter informing him of his interview in person at the visa office on September 12. Since then, we have been waiting. This is what they say.... no news good news?

If either of you have an insurance policy and the other is named as a benificiary, you should include that information, joint bank accounts, letters of support from friends or family, boardings passes from any visits(or stamps in passport).
