International student applying for spouse open work permit and child visa

Hi Members,

I am an international student in Canada, came in Dec 2017. I want to apply for my wife and 3 months old son visa.
I came to know about spouse open work permit but what will be the status of my child in Canada?

at the time of application pre-questions, i came to know about the visit (tourism) and visit - all other type visas for my child.

Please guide me on the right path, I can see that fees of application will be $355 (155, 100 for spouse and 100 for a child) is this a right?
How much balance we need to show in the canadian bank?

I haven't applied yet.
But I have $23,000 in Canada bank account and 800,000 INR in India to show the balance. but I did call CIC and they said there is no minimum requirement of balance, its only depend on the visa officer how they consider your balance is enough or not.
