International Bank Statement

I will soon be applying for a Student Permit, I need a proof of financial support.
My advisor will by stating that he can provide an allowance. He gave me his bank statements (last four months )from his personal income account from where he will be drawing money to support me.
Given that I need to translate the bank documents, do I need to add every single detail of the bank statement (I mean, all of the transactions performed every month), or just the first page which provides information on the overall income and withdraws of the month? Or do I add the whole thing and only translate the first page?

I'm not sure what to do. Thank you.

I would try translating all of them, although most banks nowadays come in with English duplicated statements. (keeps your currency but the tables and items are translated)

Anyway, but let us know how it goes. I am not sure anyone can simply sponsor you, can they?(except family) Is a written statement from this person enough to prove to CIC that he will KEEP funding you?

I wanna do the same thing but I am unsure they will allow my special someone to provide for me while I am studying. PS: He is a Canadian citizen - they'll probably think I won't come back after school? Plus things happen, and that third party, as far as I know, is considered unreliable because they can retract their support at any time. Unless they see money in your name or it's a family member that supports, it's sketchy to them

I did try with my bank to get a translated statement, they do not provide it. So I have to pay someone in order to get it translated (every month has 2 pages of transactions) and get the affidavit with it.

Well, I'm getting a student permit, but I'm only doing a summer undergraduate research experience, so my (thesis) advisor (from home country) is providing me with the money required for the two months. I suppose that with savings larger than the minimum per month required and proving his link with the university can be enough proof of the arrangement.
