Hello Guys
I have got AOR since Jan 20, 2017. When I submitted my application I didn't know the difference of choosing yes or no for the job offer option. I DONT have LMIA, and I though it was asking for whether I have permanent job or not in Canada. So I chose yes, and submitted my job offer (not LIMA). Now I know that's asking for LMIA.
I then wait until today, my status is still showing I am in background check, still review my eligibility. There is no any notification from CIC about any problem of documents.
The description of this option was misleading, I think I am not the only one who made the misleading choice.
Is my wrong choice keeps my applications stalling?
Does anybody know what will happen to my application, will it be rejected or be kept waiting?
How should I fix this? Should I call CIC to rectify my job offer option?

Thank you

You chose the right answer to that question. If you do not have LMIA, choose no.

The background check will not be cleared until your application is approved.

It does look like that your application is close to or has reached the regular processing time.

I suggest you to apply for the GCMS notes as well as call CIC to see what's wrong. There must be something fishy going on but I do not think it has anything to do with the job offer section you mentioned.

And I know that they send out PPR request through email only. You should check your inbox as well as the junk mail box too.

Thanks Doge
But my situation is I DON'T have LMIA, and I chose yes. Since that question misled me. And I did not know the existence of canadavisa forum at that time. :( So my situation become a little bit complicated now. Do you think I should withdraw it and reapply?

Sorry for that. Okay. I still suggest you to apply for the GCMS notes first and call CIC. They may help you to sort it out.
