Hello everyone,

I am currently working in a company based in Montreal. In employment confirmation letter my company is ready to provide the info that: my role allows me currently to work remotely. But still my paystubs will be from montreal office itself. I am planning to explain when i apply under cec that if it requires to move to ontario i can since i am working remotely anyway. Will this be sufficient info or do I really need to convince my company to even transfer me outside quebec? Because they are not ready to go through with that process for now.

If you received ITA, you should be showing residency in another province with leases, tax residency, provincial health care and driver's license. Show that you are actually moving. If you don't have ITA then move now.

Agree that the potential to work remotely from another province is not enough. You don’t even appear to be working remotely now. Given faster processing times for CEC these days you should either move before applying if your CRS score is high enough to get selected or move once you get ITA as soon as possible.
