Inquiry regarding 3 year work permit

Hello Everyone, I m new here !

I am looking to applying for a pg course in 2013. The duration of the course is one year. I wanted to clarify whether a one year course not be eligible for 3 year work permit. I have heard that a 1.5 year course is necessary.

Secondly can foreign students apply for part time courses.

Thirdly is anyone on this forum applying for an LLM course. If so are they aware of any university offering a 1.5 year course to international students?
I am interested in applying for the LLM in common law offered by British Columbia University but it is only of 12 months.

1. 1 year course, 1 year PGWP.
2. No, student must be in full time attendance, except for last semester to complete degree. PT summer course, are usually okay.
