Inquiry |Nickname vs Legal Name, Should I include my Nickname?

Hi All,

I hope you all doing well.

Quick question regarding the Nickname and legal name thing as I find it tricky.
Should I list my Nickname? which never shows up in any of my legal document but it is just easier to prounouce.
What i found out is that if i indicate I have a nickname, they would ask me to submit a legal document or letter of explanation.. which i dont know what the format would look like and i definitely dont have a legal document for that.

What should I do? Can someone senior explain if you went through the same?

Ok, so if your legal name is "Thomas", do any of the documents you are submitting refer to you as "Tom"?

If it does not appear in any of your documents, you need not answer Yes to this question.

No. like I have an asian name but I gave myself an english name at work lol
e.g., my real name is ABCED, but my name at work is Emily

Do you need to submit that original job offer letter?

Also, if CIC call your work with your full name, will they know who you are? Are they likely to call you Emily?

If CIC call my work they will know with my legal name, but they will likely call me Emily cuz that's how I call myself at work.

But I have always called myself
first-middle last

So lots of my documents refer to me as first-middle.

I said yes to the other name and added an affidavit of 'first-middle' and 'first middle'.

My boyfriend told me I was being stupid, but one of my work letters that I need has the hyphen in my name so I didn't want to take any chances.

Yes, the section appeared and it says: "You indicated you have another name. You must provide information on the use of this other name (such as a letter of explanation, legal documents of a name change, etc)."
