INLAND Spouse sponsorship Application - Medical Exams

Hi all,

I would like to check if the medical receipt need to be sent with the application package? Would i get 1st stage approval and work permit application approved without my medicals done? I sent my application package without my medicals because i do not have a client ID at that time Nov 2010. I heard that the medicals are only valid for 1 year and i am wondering if i should do my medicals now to avoid delay in my application.

Anyone can advise on that?

The receipt for the medical is supposed to be submitted with the application when you apply as a spousal applicant. If you did not send the medical proof, they will ask for it after they assess the ap for first stage approval - which is 9-10 months after they receive it. It might delay processing, but you can probably delay doing/sending the medical until they ask for it.
