Hi,
I'm going to submit my Inland PR application in this few days. I am planning to request for VISA extension + temporary work permit with my PR applications.
I have a questions to apply temp. work permit. Referred CICC website, I can't find the application form which is designated for the applicant who is already in Canada. The form I FOUND is: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1295B.PDF Can anyone let me know which is correct application form for my case?
However, I found there is a check box at the form of IMM 1249 (Application to change my condistion, extend my stay in Canada), i.e. initial work permit or extension of work permit.
Can I choose both check boxes, i.e. "extension of temporary resident status as vistor" and "initial work permit"? I know I need to pay the application fee $75 (visa extension) & $150 (work permit) respectively.
If Yes, do i simply need to write the reasons at Question 10 of the form IMM 1249
i.e. - I submitted my Inland PR application on March 30, 2009 and I am waiting for CICC to go through and process my application. Therefore, I need to extend my visa. I also want to apply my temporary work permit when my PR application gets first stage approval.
