Tuskers, have you or anyone else had any insight into how much longer this PPR stalemate could last for FSW? I heard all sorts of contrasting rumours!

Usually it's 4+months for FSW Inlanders however now a days no movement at all.
For me it's 121 days since AOR and no news at all.
I called CIC number and the agent said the processing time is 6 months. If I don't hear anything then contact CIC after 6 month. She didn't say anything about my application.
Am frustrated and my work permit is going to expire by December.

If your work permit is about to expire, try reading this post from earlier today titled:

"Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) Update - Initial AOR can now be used"

It claims that you can now apply for a BOWP with the first AOR

Thank you.
Am planning to submit BOWP during first week of December and once my current work permit expires I will be under implied status.
Work permit doesn't need to expire, u can apply 4 months before it expires for BOWP. So why to be in Implied status

check more info here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/bridging.asp

Am expecting my PR before my work permit expires that's why I didn't apply BOWP.
Man, it's highly unlikely that our applications will be processed this year due to prioritized processing of refugees. Apply for BOWP as soon as possible.
Btw, are you on WP with LMIA now? Because working holiday visa and PGWP can't benefit from implied status.

The application is moving slowly for Inland FSWs but at least I am seeing some movement here and there which is good news.

Working holiday: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/iec/
PGWP is post graduate work permit.
