I am also on same boat

Aug 10 AOR still waiting for PPR.

Last update on Jan 14th for spouse renew passport copy document.

At this rate seems like I may not see any movement on my case file for another 6-7 months.

This is bad news as my Working Visa expires at end of July. Hopefully I may still qualify for BOWP.

Fingers crossed.

I hope and pray that all you guys that submitted in August get PPR very soon. Your endurance deserves some reward.

Hi OAMI, this sounds promising. Can you please share your timeline?

Best wishes to you. Your journey is almost over.

If your R10 is OK, and you fulfill other BOWP requirements, then you will qualify.

just out of curiosity... what is R10?

R10 is basically a completeness check of your application. Normally it takes around one month (might vary person to person) for CIC to complete this process. During R10, a CIO checks all PCC, ECA reports+ Foreign credentials, Age. Before R10, another officer checks your minimum score against the cut off score, your existing UCI, Medical reports, RCMP clearance, IELTS and Fees paid and send it for R10.

If your work permit is going to expire, you can apply for BWOP when your R10 is complete. Unfortunately CIC does not notify you the completeness of R10. Most likely you will get a "Ghost Email". Hope it helps.

Received PPR today :)

People,

My medicals were "passed" and now are "Not needed at this time".

Any ideas of why this has changed? Anybody got the same situation before PPR?

Thanks.

From what I've read before you maybe close to PPR, what is your timeline?

Hi, just checked my profile and for Background Check it says "Not Needed at this time"

The weird thing about this; I did not get an Email notification, (Ghost Email or other Email saying 'Your Application has been Updated').

No additional documents have been requested.

his AOR is just 2 weeks ago, for sure it's not a PPR

Thanks for your comment. I thought so. I mean people have been waiting for 5-6 months so there is no way I will get in under 1 month.
