Yeah, they sent my application to edmonton and edmonton sent it to Vancouver. And cic can not give a timeline for Vancouver

Landed today in Etobicoke. Everything was very quick. Interview was less than 5 minutes.
Just 3 standard questions, asked for the passport and proof of address from both and a picture. Then confirm address and name spelling. Sign and good to go! Very pleasant lady! Changed SIN right away. Also, she said to call OHIP to update their records. She mentioned just about sponsorship responsibility and obligations and the card will arrive in 4-6 weeks. She said never loose the COPR even when you going to retire, specially when applying for the citizenship. Everything smooth and fast ( at least the landing part) 15 months it took.

Off the top, I recall abracadabra had her file moved to Vancity from an Alberta office recently. She got approval within a week or 3. I have heard of others. That one is fresh and recent.

It might take longer if you will wait until they request. Best always to include everything.

Congratulations I recieved sa today Mr carol you day on March 10. Laywer forwarded it to me to say they approved my application to sponsor Mr carol and our journey started december 15, 2015 to all the people waiting for Sa there is hope
