Hey Simpsol22,

If memory serves me right, you are landing today!!!! Congratulations on such a big accomplishment! I hope you celebrate after and then let us know how it went!! :D :D :D :D :D

Thank you very much!!!! Just got home. Unfortunately I'm sick....but we do plan to attempt an early valentines dinner tonight. Landing went well. Felt like going to the bank really. Lol. Waited for one person to finish then we were called up to the window. Confirmed some details. She asked if we were still married, had any dependents not reported, ever been refused entry and ever committed a crime. Signed a few forms...including condition 51 since we were not married 2 yrs when we applied. She asked my husband if he had questions. Then she said congrats and we were done. :) took 15 minutes. Was told to visit service canada in 3 days to update sin and to notify MSP BC I'm now a Pr and not a visitor

Landed today.

Interview process was straightforward. Just asked for passport, photos. Asked me to complete a form. And that was it. they did say not to travel till the PR card comes in mail.

Service Ontario is another kiosk and the SIN card was issued immediately.

total time for the process was 5 min. however the waiting was around 1 hour for my turn.

update on my application :
this morning i received another e mail from my consultant, its an e mail from cic stating the date of my landing, it will be on Feb 28 in Calgary.
anyone who did their landing in Calgary, how did it go? :) she told me that its not a relationship interview and more likely just a formality and just to sign some papers, although she still gave me some pointers on what could they probably ask :)
one more thing, we have a two year old daughter, can we bring her?
thanks! :) :)
