June 2015 applicant here,got dm dec 4,called cic on 2nd week and third week after dm ecas,both said that everything are approved just wait for the email or mail from local office

Thank you!,,yes just waiting for the date and it feels like forever ,maybe because of the holiday season,,everyday i always check emails and look if our mail guy is there outside our door,,my heart beat soo fast everytime,,

I this is a good thing. I applied in June, 2015. My ecas said the same thing. Instead of December 21, I had November 2016, that's when we got approval for sponsoring and the approval in principle. Just wait n it's coming for you too. holiday delays

it sounds like they've requested documents from you. If you call CIC, they should be able to resend the letter or tell you what was requested. They have a 4 week turn around for mail to arrive to you. Hopefully they're helpful.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you! I am also waiting for DM, as I applied in June 2015. However, I am in the same boat as you with the interview in the future.
