The sponsor and the PA have to both attend the landing. Bigger problem might be that she and you are supposed to be residing together in Canada (assuming inland application, given the context).

Hi. I just got my PR last week.
Mailed application in May 2015 so the whole process took 18 months. I anticipated 24 months but all the sudden interview request email arrived two weeks ago giving just one week to prepare. Questions were straight forward. Crime, Children, Deportation.
I will visit this forum more often to contribute.
Have a great day.

Thats great news !! congrats!!

Did you do your meds upfront? between the time you applied and the interview date - was there any other communication from CIC?

Hello everyone!

I'll try to make this short. I am looking for reassurance! My husband is a Canadian citizen and sponsoring me. (I am American. We have been together since 2012.) This is our second PR application and I am stressing! (Our first was outland and denied after 15 months of waiting because they didn't believe we were in a genuine relationship and I was wrongfully deemed inadmissible by a border guard... A different border guard at a different crossing told me I should have never been deemed that.)

I have lived with him in Canada since May 2013 on TRP's. We sent medical, background checks, and paid all fees when applying.

I'll start with my timeline:

June 26, 2015 - Applied for Inland Spousal Sponsorship (as common-law, engaged to be married)
Sept 5, 2015 - AOR received
Oct 7, 2015 - Open work permit received in mail
Oct 10, 2015 - We got married!
July 2016 - CIC requests documents from my time served in the U.S. Army
Oct 26, 2016 - Sponsorship Approval received
Oct 31, 2016 - AIP received
Nov 9, 2016 - logged in online and saw status changed to Decision Made!

Now I am confused because when I logged in, it showed:
SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION: IN PROGRESS
1. We received your application to sponsor Laina on June 26, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on Sept 4, 2015.
3. We started processing your application on Sept 3, 2015.

PERMANENT RESIDENT APPLICATION: DECISION MADE
1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 26, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.
3. We sent you a letter on April 25, 2016. Please consider delays...blah blah blah (This would be requesting military documents)

We got the Sponsor Approval so why would it still say in progress? And how can SA be still in progress if PR shows decision made?

Does this mean I have a letter coming in the mail with their decision?

ECAS is like the forgotten child at CIC. It gets updated whe someone remembers to do it.

Try myCIC. What does it say?

It sounds like your Decision Made letter, informing you that you will be scheduled for an appointment at your local CIC office to attend your landing appointment/interview.

Congratulations!
