I sent my application on July 28th...received on July 31st...heard nothing yet.....all early august and late July applicants, please let's keep each other informed on when we get AORs. Cheers!

Not everyone gets AOR, don't worry. My app was received 7th July and I didn't get an AOR but got my OWP Sept 30th.

Working as a social worker should not be a problem. Usually they specify what occupation you cannot work under. Ie: escort service, massage service, etc etc.

Applied inland July 20 2015, got AOR just today October 10. I hope Owp soon.

Hello everyone, I would like to be add to the Inland Application File:
My Name is Robert Benavides Inland applcation received by CIC 26 May 2014, letter of AOR received on August 08, 2014 and that is all the information I have so far and it's also what appears on ecas. Hopefully CIC will star working in my file on these days.....Oh there is also another question that I have: On January 06 I submitted application for OWP but I was out of status at that time I wonder if after a "decision made" is done by CIC on my Spouse application are they will issue also my OWP? or it will take again another 04 months to work on my OWP

We just got AOR, application received July 16. Still waiting for OWP.

Havent received anything yet.. sent july 23 2015.. a bit confused on checking the status online.. do i need to enter my uci number or my sponsors uci no.?? Hope i'll get good news soon.

Either will work on ECAS but you'll see different information depending which you use.

If you use YOUR uci, ECAS will only show you information relating your application for PR - which at this point will just be "we received your application for PR on..."

If you use your SPONSORS uci, ECAS will show the sponsorship application AND your PR application.

I haven't been here for a while now but I wanted to check in and see how the application process is going for everyone?
So my husband applied Inland Jan 15, 2015 and on the website it is still showing as application received...Like WTF, when shoudl we get that stupid AIP? its been forever.
He works pays taxes spends money in Canada, but will not have any privilages until he gets his PR, and how its going he won't get it for another 2 years.
Anyone have any news?
People have arranged marriages, from certain countries get married in 3 days, and the spouse comes to canada with papers, ohip and all within 6 months. this is BS

Yep, that's how Canada rolls.

You should get your AIP in June 2016, or maybe it'll get worse and you'll have to wait till 2017.

well if Trudeau wins, everyone else will have top priority and we who are in the system will have to wait.
Just like the people with express entry they get their papers in 6 month, and we who are married to canadians have to wait a f$%king 2 yrs to get approved....hahahha what a joke

atleast people got their OWP... so they pay taxes to canada spend their money, eat, pay rent etc , and then your hope you get approved for OHIP.
sorry i'm venting but it's frustrating when you see all these other people who have more priority then you.
Maybe we should organize another gathering in Ottawa about this issue?
