Yes she did, but it makes also no sense to me. I send all my paperwork together away on January 7th and haven't received my OWP yet. I wonder how it works, that a person who applied later has it already. Sometimes its hard to understand the system of the CIC.

BUT Iam happy for you that you got it already!

If I recall, she sent her OWP app with her PR application. Those are getting processed first from the looks of it. Those of use that filed separately and in response to the new pilot program must wait apparently.

This confuses me, because the only reason why Inland people are getting OWP's at all before AIP is through the pilot program.

So, it's the same program. I'm shocked they even saw the inside of her app package so soon.

That's why I'm wondering if there's any additional details we can see.

Unfortunately there is no consistency. That's a same thing like December 2013 applicants started to get their AIP while other applicants from Sep-Oct-Nov are still waiting.

Hello.. we are doing indland spousal sponsorship as well.. Does anybody received an OWP yet? is it really feasible to get OWP within 4 months? thanks

Submitted our application : March 10, 2015
Got an email from CIC re. confirmation that they have received our application package: March 29, 2015

I'd like to welcome all future 2015 inland applicants!:)
Although it's still 2014, you can join this thread if you are planning to file an inland app in 2015, you can share your questions and concerns.

A couple things to start:
Know that you can apply outland even if you are in Canada. Check the processing time in the appropriate thread, it can be much shorter than what CIC states on the website.
If you apply inland, consider to send an application for OWP, which gives you implied status during the process (only if you have valid status at the time that CIC receives your Inland application and OWP).

Wish you a smooth and fast process in 2015!:)

I am a future applicant for 2015. Me and my fiancé will be getting married this April 2015.
My study permit will be expiring july 2015 and I can't apply for post graduate work permit cos I still owe my school fees. My questions are
1. Can I get the breakdown of the process of making the inland application
2. Do I need to include medicals with the application since it will probably expire before they issue AIP
3. Since my study permit is still valid through july, can I still continue working after july since I would be on implied status
4. Is the assistance of a lawyer. Necessary? The cheapest I found so far says he will charge 4000 for the whole process

Thanks for sharing, I've added you data to the spreadsheet. You can follow the issuance of the OWPs here:

First of all, read the guide you were quoting and the one you can find in my signature, it can answer a lot of your questions.
You don't need a lawyer, you just need a lot of time to read everything very carefully.

Thanks sophieee.. but i am not sure if what we have received is an AOR? it gave us the application number which is F000XXXXXX

Not sure if I have a blond moment, but the date seems wrong to me 2015-13/12? Does it mean December 13th 2015?

How long does it take in average to receive the AOR?
