I just can not find the logic behind not processing the applications in order. Maybe there is no logic behind it i guess :( . it seems that they do not even touch the application. I can understand if they open and request more documents but to skip it completely and go to another one that is the rational i do not understand.

do you have gcms notes? As a July 2015 applicant, I know how frustrating it can be, as I was seeing January 2016 apps being processed before ours. CIC doesn't really seem to have a pattern when it comes to processing applications. I am sure you will hear soon.

Hi I'm August 17 applicant. I had a question that is SA and Aip same ? I received one letter on July 2016 saying I'm eligible for PR. I received similar letter on December 2016 which also said same thing. Also I was requested new background declaration form which I already submitted in Jan 2017 1st week. Can anyone help me guide how long after this ? Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Thanks

SA Sponsorship approval this means that IRCC says that your sponsor (either a PR or a Citizen of Canada) meets the requirements to sponsor you.

AIP Approval in Principle applies to the principal applicant. This is the person being sponsored. AIP indicates that the principle applicant generally meets the requirements for applying for permanent residence.

Final approval of PR is determined in after detailed examination of the genuineness of the relationship, criminality and security.

Hello,

I have a query and I am inland Applicant of December 2nd 2015.

I just received Medical upfront for myself and my non accompanied two children who lives back there in my home country. I cannot do their medical in the mean time as I am in Canada. How can I inform CIC about it.Will that bring refusal to my case. I am already frustrated from the long wait and now this issue...

Hi - Sorry, you mean to say that you did medical upfront and got a request to redo them? CIC do request if the medicals expires and they want to process all dependents at the same time.

When they rquest the medical, it's no longer upfront.

Is there someone back home who can get your kids to the medical? If not, send a CSE.

Hi,

I am an August 2015 applicant. On January 10, 2017, my permanent residence application status changed to "Decision Made"

Since it has been more than a week and I did not receive any communication, I was wondering what to do next. Please advise.

Thanks,

Krish

Apparently DM in ECAS just means they've started working in the decision process. I read from a person who was informed by a call centre rep. What does MyCIC say?

I would just wait. You should hear in the next couple weeks. If you're dying to know, and can't wait, you can try calling the call centre to ask.

I was sent this information: You must provide an
RCMP police clearance certificate based on fingerprints.

Is this a standard step? Is the the prerequisite of DM?
thanks!

Some people do have to submit fingerprints to RCMP. Generally based on your country of origin and travel history. So if you got the request, it's a standard step.

They are starting to request it more and more.
