Thank you SOO much Carlaganda!!! I am really hoping so. One half of me is expecting to see everyone after us, into September and November get their AIPs before us because of the issues. The other half is expecting it...NOW! lol

Even our AOR was double the time of everyone elses who applied during the same time period.... :-s

I think you should expect CIC to contact you, even if you have to send more proof, or they require something else (hopefully not!) they should contact you by the time you should get your AIP.
If a 12th applicant got their AIP, you will hear something very soon, I believe your AIP!

I Think that's good news. I recognize the word "dispatch" from when I applied for my multiple entry visa. When I got it I first thought they meant they started processing the application, so I waited two more weeks to hear back from them. When I heard nothing I contacted the embassy and they were like, yourvisa has been ready for two weeks.

Takes them 2 - 3 weeks just to open your med file.

I can't find info with this post but I remember reading it.

Someone had posted that you can apply for OHIP if in the Remarks section of the Visitor Visa Extension/Record had something about Inland Sponsorship was in process or something to that effect.
I just got my passport extended so was going to apply for a longer extension of a year or more. Previously I asked for 6 months and was given 6 months. In my remarks sections was all the normal stuff about not allowed to attend school or work. Do you think I can request for to add that sponsorship is in process in the remarks this time around?
If anyone has this in their visitor record remarks can you let me know the exact working?

About ecas ,, my ecas changed yesterday from "application received " to "in process " , and also states that they started processin my pr app last Monday , and that the medicals were received .

OMG!!!!!!! I can FINALLY call in now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting for the day they update it to past my date so that I can call!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not like it does much good…but still!!!!!!!

Wow…imagine I am so excited about this….wait until my AIP…

My co-worker warned me I better not scream at work cuz it will mean they know I am not working…BUT TOO BAD!!!!! I am gonna scream and go crazy for real!!!!!!

Yup!

Meaning that ACS and others should be hearing something between today and Monday, hopefully!

I'm happy with the current processing timeline.

Hopefully we'll hear some news about DMs too. Looks like currently it's taking them a few months to process those after AIP instead of the AIP+DM trend we were seeing before.
