Guys ... I tried to Call CIC Call center few times this morning but I can't get through ...the voice message keep telling me to login to our web site ...
May I know what's the easiest way to get CIC agent on the phone ?? Thanks

Yeah, I'm guessing it'll be hard to get through today, their first day back at work after a long holiday weekend. There's probably lots of people wanting information that had to wait until today to call!

But you never know with immigration Canada! Haha, I am so relieved now. It has been so long (15 months) and I was almost going crazy, but now it's almost over. Can't wait for this landing letter to arrive..

Guys ..At last I get through and spoke with CIC agent , the guy on the phone very nice and look like soft spoken and kind man ..As we all know their no updates from CPC M from past 9 weeks but agent make me surprise , he told me CIC already sent a letter and email to my lawyer 2 weeks ago But my Lawyer not around so I don't know what's about that letter and same time he told me I will received one more letter and email with in next 2 weeks but he say he can't disclosed about that letter information because its against rule and regulation , I mean he can't tell me about next letter is AIP OR DM Letter or Something else or may be interview letter :-\ :-\...same time he told me if I didn't received any letter from CIC with in next 2 weeks then called back again....I don't know what's really going on their :-\

Bruneian Did u try to call CIC or not yet ??Because u r July Applicant and I am August ..I called CIC because my lawyer not around from past 18 days ,so no choice and I called CIC today morning to check what's going on with my file and that's what CIC agent told me ..I have no idea what's going on their ??by the way Did u received any letter or email from CIC or not yet ??if u didn't received then how could I ????? :-\ :-\ :-\

i did try last week. agent told me that since the website is still showing july 8 there is nothing they can do for me. Ive been having dreams of receiving AIP during easter long weekend but ofcourse it was just a dream. Does anyone know if they still check your background if you've not lived elsewhere besides canada since 18 yrs old??? Im asking because my home country always takes forever to reply. Believe it or not the govt there is worse than CIC

btw how did you word your question to the cic call agent, harmin? I just ask them if there are any updates in my file. she just said no. that was a waste of my time.

edit: ok just log into ecas. No changes there either.

this could be the period where applications got transferred from CPC-V to CPC-M. that could be one explanation for the long wait. may be CPC-M doesn't want to process applications until CPC-V are done with all AIPs. otherwise there would be two simultaneous processing dates.
