Hi, got a letter from CIC today saying they transferred my file to CPC-Missisauga, files August 8 2013 with OPW police and no medical, anyway what does AIP looks like?

You guys need to relax, they mail the leters and most people that got there's were located close to CPC-V. im from the maritimes and i know it gonna take about a week for the mail to get here.

I am also living in Mississauga...no letter arrived. I wonder they choose it randomly or following some rules...

All the transfer letters originated from Vegreville and almost if not all were sent on 3rd March, so those living in or close to Alberta will definitely get theirs first. Don't worry......Be happy.

i am new to the forum...i got a phone call from our immigration consultant informing us that our application was transferred to CPC- M...i am really nervous...all we have to do is wait, more patience, positive, and pray to our God that everything will go smooth...

Why the added angst? The transferring of applications seems to be part of their new process and is affecting many other applicants.

All the transfer letters originated from Vegreville and almost if not all were sent on 3rd March, so those living in or close to Alberta will definitely get theirs first. Don't worry......Be happy.

Do you have information that corroborates this, or is it just your `guess'?

Got my letter today from CPC-V, Im in Toronto..
One thing that bugs me from the letter is that it stated "Once processing is complete, that office will notify you by mail of their decision".
So does that mean that no more email notifications from CPC-M or email + mail?
I hope they do not resort to just using snail mail now.. :-X

I got AIP in the end of Oct last year and had to redo my Med. Right now I am still waiting for DM. Anyone has the same timeline as I do? Do you know usually how long it's gonna take from redo Med to DM?

I think that the transferring of application from CPC- V to CPC- M is part of the processing. I just hope that it will not stuck in CPC- M...

Called THE CIC today to validate the time frame and they gave me a worst case scenario, I am asking them the prtocessing times if the 8 months start the day we filed our paper or 8 months as of today that we received the letter and they told me that the 8 months will start the day we received the transferred letter THIS IS NOT SO GOOD NEWS. but they say they are not sure yet.

No it's not true...the letter is just an update to the applicants so that if there is need for additional documents, you will know where to send it to. Looking at those that received their aip timeline, it's possible they divided 2013 files in half...CPC-V did till June 2013 while CPC-M will start July 2013. My guess NOT A FACT.
