Hello all!

I have questions for you guys.

I got an e-mail from CIC today. So now I have a file number. Does this mean the documents I sent are correct to process?
and What is AOR? if anyone knows, please give me an idea.

Thanks!

Stage 1 processing updated from 10 months to 6 and they're still working on October 12 applications!!!!! Are they serious right now ugh

Yeah also just saw that. I keep checking to see if that oct 12 changes, very frustrating.

Hey all!

We am moving to Toronto on Saturday and have changed my address online for our PR application, but we had also applied for a visitors visa extension. We should be receiving my husband's extension any day now (of course if its approved, but with an inland application I would think he wouldn't be refused. . . knock on wood) and I am wondering if I need to call them to change my address. Or will it update in their system since I changed it for the PR application? Please let me know, as I would rather save the time and not be on hold with any more people. Changing addresses sucks. . .

Call them up and ask them to change the address for your visitor extension application specifically. The online address change sometimes doesn't even work for the PR app itself.

Ahhh, thank you! Good to know!

Hi Guys

Did you guys notice that on the immigration page for processing times. It changed back to 6 months instead of 10 but it didn't move one day...!!! What a mess.!!!
But hopefully they are catching up or something ::) since they changed it back... Please do not change it back to 10 months... :'(

Oh well... At least it is a beautiful summer.. Hope you are enjoying it

They're messing with us now! Haha. Well, hubby will be happy to know - we thought we would have to delay a few big things but if this is true and the wait times are back to 6 months, maybe not! Here's to hoping!
