Another week gone by with no AIP's except one for June 2012 applicant. I wonder what they are doing all this time.

I wonder what % of all Inland Applicants are on this Forum??

I was also sooo dissappointed to see how poor Immigration's math skills are.....dropped back to 6 months processing (not that I'm complaining about that part)...but still only processing Oct.12?!?!?! That's well beyond 6 months...can't they count?!?

Hi guys,
just a quick question, I've been trying to log into my ecas but nothing. its been 3 weeks since our AOR email.
is the last name suppose to be principle applicant's or sponsor's?

and they had my name (principal applicant) listed weird on the email (My middle name first then my first name then my last name). did they mix that up?

it might take awhile for ecas to work but you have to put applicants information with the application # not the client ID. or sponsors info with client ID I sent my app in may and I can only log in through my info.

thanks it worked :D
they had my surname all wonky though (they had my first + last name as my "family name")

Congratulations. Did you recieve an email from CIC or did you check ECAS? Our application was received on July 30 and no word on AOR yet

If you're worried, I would give CIC a call and just make sure that your contact information is correct. At the beginning of the process, I saw that someone on the same timeline as I was received their AOR before me even though they had sent their application weeks after I had sent mine. I called CIC and politely asked them to clarify my contact information and found out that the e-mail they had on file for me was wrong by a single character and therefore I never received an e-mail from them for my AOR even though they had sent one. We never received a snail mail letter letting us know we had AOR even though our mailing address was correct.

I would give them a call to see what's going on if for nothing more than to put your mind at ease.

:)

Hi, I called to CIC last friday. She said she noticed the change of 10 months back to 6 months. She didn't know why that had been changed but she did say the processing time of oct 12 is still correct! Disappointing - trying to stay optimistic.

Thanks, will give them a call :)

I can't be true that they are still working on October apps. If so that is pure bs! Our lives are put on hold here and it is really getting the best of me sometimes. :)

Yes I agree only 4 months into the wait, what was supposed to be 2 months left has just turned into another 6 month wait. I found this out last week and it has been a very depressing week. I have been trying to keep my brain busy with free online courses such as coursera and Allison. But I quickly get bored. I guess the least we can do is enjoy the weather. It feels like it will be a long winter! I wonder if they are actually working on our files or if everything is just on hold. In which case I really hope this wait doesn't extend the 10 months.
