You are right :-)
Owp app can be send only in two ways:
1. Physically, printed and in the same package as your PR application.
2. Physically, during the processus(or after aip if you wanna wait) also printed and containning your UCI number and maybe a letter from cic (aor, aip) so they can match the owp to the pr app.

If you did it online, there's no way for them to track it and math it with your sponsor file (or they are just lazy to even try to do it) so thats why it will be threat as a normal owp...

Try calling cic and expose your problem so they can give you the right formulary number and steps to follow.
God bless and good luck!
Just called cic and you are right. Have to apply again physically and put on the envelope to attach it to my file. They sent me an email with all the information. Very nice people. Another 150$ I guess
Thanks

Hey guys just an update for people who're waiting for their AORs.

I got an AOR yesterday (15th August) for my application that was delivered on 18th July.

And guri if you see this post, you can update this info on the spreadsheet for me too. Thank you! :)

Hi 5hr3wd,
There is no column for AOR received in the spreadsheet because CIC is inconsistent with sendind AOR's to everyone. Next update that I will need from you is when your file goes into processing :)

Oh right okay. Any idea when should I be expecting that? It used to be after 2-3 months.. I think they'd take 5-6 months this time to even start processing :(

Btw I can't check ecas even with the File number that came with the AOR. Is it supposed to work now or only after when they start processing the file?

I am in the stage of waiting expectantly for the AOR...(a bit early, as mine was just received Aug.14) but I have been checking the dates already entered for the AOR from the 2012 spreadsheet, and the beginning of the 2013 where they are entered...and it gives me a basic timeframe, even though it can change.

Like in 2012, people were waiting 2-3 months for an AOR. In 2013 the average was around 9 days earlier, but has seemed to get up to about 1 month most recently.

Getting an AOR seems to mean they do a quick overview of your basic papers, and let you know if anything is missing before it even begins. Correct?

Mine went into processing after a week of them receiving the file. But, I don't think that they have actually started doing anything for my file. I am expecting something around January,2014.Keep trying to login it takes a few days to show up ( mine showed after 2 days) .

Yes, they make sure there are no missing documents or signatures and then send AOR via e-mail.

Hey everyone! I have a question about form IMM5669e question 7 Education.....it asks what type of diploma and what field of study...I don't remember what type of diploma I received from grade school (kindergarten to 6) and junior high (7-9) and field of study? I just don't remember :-[ and I don't have the diplomas on hand. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Please my wife and I want to send in our application any moment from now and we have printed our skype and msn messenger chat logs which is 1500 pages (front and back), I was wondering if this is too much to send and we also have facebook messages which is about 600 pages excluding sms. Should I just limit the number of pages and send or send the whole copies coupled with other supporting documents as well as pictures. I just want to make sure that I have done everything well.
Thanks for helping out.

I would try to pick out the important parts to show case your genuine relationship.

Thank you so much, just that it's not easy to know the part that might interest them. You know, before I came here, my wife and I talked daily and you know how conversation flows. Honestly, it's kinda hard to know where to pick from, I am thinking right now to pick the beginning(when we met), middle and few days before I came here, but so much will be missing. Should I highlight certain areas? What do you think?

@ guri3577

Applc received :May 6th,2013
In Process : May 15th,2013
Meds done : April 16th,2013 (I think.Maybe it was the 14th.something around that anyways. )

Nevermind just saw that I am already on it :P
I also sent a OWP with my applc.,same with police check and medicals ;)

@Spikey92 I hope we get positive news by end of this year :)

I know it's early for me to recieve an AOR, but seriously, everytime my phone blinks that I have a new e-mail my heart catchs for a second and I get all hopeful...(99% of them are ads....grrrr)

I find myself even anxious for Thursday to come...when they are supposed to update the CIC website....

Man...and I've Barely begun the wait and I’m already going nuts with it….

How do you guys do it?

Any coping strategies?? lol
