Me and my husband got our AIP today!!

how do i know what day our application was received? i know our AOR was august 6, but i forget or can't find the day the application was received.

any ideas?

this is starting to get long. we still haven't received stage 1 yet...

You can find that information on the CIC website, if you have information such as your file #, client ID, or receipt number from when you paid for the application fee. If you don't have any of these, you can call CIC, it's what me and my husband had to do to get that information.

I know, it's getting very long...but thankfully we are seeing SOME progress, even if it's not that much at the moment. Gotta stay positive.

Guri is done with his pr, he haven't be here for a while to update the spreadsheet, I guess now he won't be here to often. Question for guri, now than you done, can you transfer the control of the spreadsheet to some body else?

I'm reading you guys anyway, so it wouldn't be a big deal if I managed the 2013 spreadsheet. Maybe we could even merge the two sheets and have just one inland from now on. What do you think?

Thats a good idea! Why don't you PM guri to transfer the data to you?

I'm sponsoring my wife and when I check the application status online all I see is am item that says application received Aug. 6. Is that AOR?

Don't worry, they actually go by what date it was received anyway. AOR is just when they notified you officially that they have it. So you're still in there with the August applicants.
