So what status does it change to on the ecase once a person receives their landing letter and/or PR?
does the status change to DM or complete?

But when did you get DM ?! I would be calling cic agents , and faxing letters to local office .

Oct 2013, they are waiting on extending hubby medical its been 4 months already n haven't heard anything still. CIC agents keep telling me to call at the ed of every month to check n see if any new update came on the file.... now I have to wait till 24th of March or later to call CIC again.....

Hi @ Spikey92 and congrats on your landing by reading your post i assume that they state that "you should live together for the next two years" cuz the Condition 51 applies to you. Those 2 years have nothing to do with the 3 years of sponsor's responsability. Let's say, in order to keep your pr, you HAVE to live with your partner for 2 years, but if then you decide to leave, you'll keep your pr but she'll still be responsable for you financilly for one year more.

Has this new, improved and speedy processing in Mississauga begun? Are we going to see the processing date move up today?? Or do we have to wait another week……or more…..??

I believe to hear some movements for sure we have to wait until the update march 27' :-\ just my guess ???
For now just relax & try to keep our mind busy with something else 8) ;D 8)

Lol..I have been doing pretty good at keep occupied, but every Thursday, for the update is when I go a little bit crazy hitting the refresh button a billion times, with my fingers crossed

The rest of the week I try not to think about it.....but I allow myself the Thursday to be obsessive about it. lol ;D (better 1 day a week than 7!)

After you land, ours say Sponsorship Applicant-Decision Made, PR Applicant-Complete.

Under PR Applicant:

We received XXXXXXs application for permanent residence on February 5, 2013.

We started processing XXXXXX's application on December 20, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on XXXXXXXX's application. The office will contact XXXXXXX concerning this decision.

XXXXXXX entered Canada at Ottawa on February 25, 2014 and became a Permanent Resident.

Hi everyone. My wife got DM yesterday! The email came from Vegreville. We will be landing in Vancouver. Finally we can now get on with our life. Good luck and VERY speedy processing to all of you!
