Hi everyone,

Just want to update my status on 2013 inland spreadsheet;
Got AIP+DM on January 9, 2014. Recived OWP on January 14, 2014.
Recived letter for interview/landing at Vancouver office on February 11, 2014.
Finally landed in Vancouver on February 20, 2014. 8)

Good luck to all still waiting!

Oh ya, on the letter that i've mentioned before, CIC give us new UCI and Application number, so it is different from the UCI and Application number from the one CIC gave us on the AOR via email. Then i tried to log in e-cas with that new UCI/Application number but it does not work.

Anyone could help to explain?

Thank you.

Are you sure the application number is not the same?

The UCI that you received with AOR is the sponsor's UCI. This letter now shows the UCI number for the applicant, but I thought the application number was the same. No?

Agree , I can understand a new UCI for the sponsored person , but not the application # , mine are both the same on the letter .

Hi Ponga,

Sorry, i have checked again the Application number is still the same, but the UCI numbers is totally different and i cannot check it online.

Hmmm. I know that eCas can be `moody' at times.

I was able to login with my `new' UCI today without any problems.

Since this is now the UCI number for the applicant, are you sure that you're entering the correct surname, date of birth and country of birth for the applicant (NOT the sponsor)?

Yup. Since the applicant is me so i have put my correct surname, date of birth and country of birth. But still nothing. I guess i should wait until couple of days. They probably have not settled my 'new' UCI in the system.

I have another question If my file got transfered from Vegreville to Missisauga and i have my "applicant" UCI number not the SPONSOR UCI number , does it mean that my husband (THE SPONSOR) already got the sponsorship approval?

Thanks!
Pritha

Hubby will be landing tomorrow and I start a new job shortly after! We'll keep you updated on how everything goes and give you the run down of what went on as soon as we can.

Can't believe this day is already here! Seems like yesterday we sent off our application! :)

Hello everyone,
Guys I am not quite sure where to mail my application, any help appreciated . I have a new born baby so should the application send to Spouses, common-law or conjugal partner and dependent children: or to Spouse and Common-law Partner (currently living in Canada): or Courier address (no public drop-offs) 2 Robert Speck Parkway?
Couldnt find accurate answer , please if somebody knows to share his/ her info.
Thanks a lot :)

Thanks for the explanation AckTivity. Another question, i have received a letter from CIC today stating that my application has been moved from Vegreville to Missisauga (now is my Designated Processing Centre). What is that mean? Does my husband Sponsorship get an approval / Do we pass the stage 1 ?

No, unfortunately all that means is that you are in the bunch of applications that have been moved. I believe that they were moving all of the applications that had not yet received stage 1 approval to Mississauga. Hopefully, once all of the applications have been moved, they will be speeding through them.

So, yeah, not good news but not bad news either.

For those of you who are concerned about receiving a letter about your file being transferred to CIC-M and haven't been keeping up here on the forums as to why you're getting it, here's the bulletin that gave the information (when, why, how, etc.)...

Let's hope we see some more progress soon! :)

Good point Ponga,

It's all about family reunification that's why they don't prioritize inland applicants because they are here in Canada already. At some point, I have to suggest that they should issue the AIP faster though, so We/I can work here in Canada to help with the finances.

In that case visa office at manila takes about 16 months to process... wouldn't be faster than inland anymore
