CIC says they're still working on October 8, 2012 applications, I'd be amazed if anyone in Feb/Mar 2013 had received AIP.

Isnt that for Decision Made? I dont know what to think, I check this forum everyday, I found a post today of someone getting a letter of AIP or first stage approval, he filed his application in febreaury 2013... thats why i'am asking.

check this threat http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/letter-from-cic-in-regards-to-wifes-spousal-pr-app-considered-1st-stg-approval-t154732.0.html the guy who started it says (in previous posts) that they applied on febraury.

His application was an outland application - the current processing time for Outland sponsor approval is 29 days.

hi guys
after going through the forums i realized that we didn't send a lot of proof for our case(it's a marriage one). My question- Is it a good idea to send more proof like latest pictures etc.? Could it be seen as a red flag by VO as being desperate to get approved?
I am confused. All your suggestions are welcome!!

What proof did you send? I didn't send much either, just pictures of the wedding, honey moon pics and some trips with friends. I didn't send any letters whatsoever. although I have gathered some when we were originally gonna apply with a common law application. lol. Honestly I didn't know what I was thinking but I didn't feel the need to include excessive proof and was hoping the pictures will show how genuine the relationship is and how happy we are. lol And hey it worked for us. Just waiting for landing date now. :)

Don't overthink it. At best it comes off as being a bit panicked, at worst desperate. If you get called for an interview THEN you can bring out lots of evidence. Our application contained 20 pictures total - and we had lots of big red flags elsewhere (prior refusal, 19 year age difference, the fact my spouse's parents didn't even know I existed, etc.) But it was (along with the other evidence) enough.

thnx guys! We also sent about 20 pics wedding, honeymoon and some outings! After reading your guys posts i feel much more relaxed ;D

Even we don't have much proofs for the time before our marriage, so, I think sending whatever u have is the best we can do.........

well. i think is a normal feeling, after sending the package we all start thinking.. what was missing? what else could we have add? honnestly I think about that everyday...
We are married. (now-a-days that's not really a proof of honest relationship) so...we add more than 100 pictures in diferent times and situations... we put our first photo together when we met at university, a lot of pics of parties, family reunions, beach trips, honneymoon, halloween parties, home pictures with our pets, etc.
We also add marriage certificate and act. Copies of our appartment lease (both where we have lived in), a notary letter from his grandmother (who raised him) certifying the authenticity of our relationship (too sad, she passed away this year), a letter from my parents in my country certifiying the same.
Our wedding invitations (both in spanish and french), a looooooot of letters that we received from my family (aunts, oncles, grandparents, etc) sent to the 2 adresses where we have lived together. Hydroquebec factures, joint bank account, etc.

But i keep thinking i could have sent the medical inssurance of his job where i am included. the life inssurance copy, the appartment insurance copy, and even copies of letters he writes to me when he goes to work and im still sleeping...

im gonna safe that in case of interview... but if i would have sent them, we might be free of interview :S

This was sent to someone who's currently on a IEC visa which ends in August, he applied in May for his PR with a Open Work Permit application at the same time and he received this from the CIC in June stating he can continue to work while he waits for the 1st stage of process when he can get his Open Work Permit.

Is this technically Implied Status?

I have scanned in the document below.

Yes he has implied status. Its clearly stated in the letter lol.
