Hi everyone..
Just thought I might share this,in case any one's interested to know..
So I just called CIC to check on the additional documents I've sent in to the General Correspondence office in Vegreville..
Anyways, the CIC agent told me that they are just opening mail from Jan 8th 2014 and it might take a while to "open" mail and match them to applicant's files..
And since I was on the phone with them, I thought I might just ask about my meds which I did upfront last Sept..
The agent told me there was no record of my meds and "maybe" they will find it when they process my case..LOL
Oh well..

Cant wait for the processing time update today!

Anyways, the CIC agent told me that they are just opening mail from Jan 8th 2014 and it might take a while to "open" mail and match them to applicant's files..

This is really good to know, thank you! I sent my follow-up documents in towards the end of January. So, hopefully once they open those my application will finally start moving again.

Maybe I should call and check on the extra documents that hubby and I sent in December. Though that was all updated relationship information and a few more leases (vehicles, apartment) that were sent. Not sure if they still look at that kind of stuff in second stage....

I did my meds in
May, and sent the together with the application. I don't know where you are but some docs on their list (http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx) in my area who could give me an appointment the same week. They told me cic would get the results in a couple of weeks.
I got AIP and DM same day, so I have no idea how long it took them to process the meds, but I think they are working to get through apps fast now, so it probably wouldn't be the full processing time on the website. Red_gatsby just posted some relevant info too... Hopefully they get through all of yours very soon!

By the way, are you Tibetan? My sister's husband is

Hi red_Gatsby ..R u sure they r taking few weeks to open additional documents mails??Because my lawyer told me they just took 7 to 10 working days to attached our updates with our files after receiving our additional documents mail ... :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

red_gatsby is right. I sent my medicals and additional docs back in dec and they said its not on their system yet. But I sent another one to change my spouse's birthday and they did that in just 2 weeks!

Burneian,if they can update ur spouse DOB with in 2 weeks then why they can't update other documents...because that's also consider additional information right ??
