Hi Danib,

I have the same problem. I didnt schedule the medical exam until now, however, the doctor is insistent that I produce a CIC medical report form (sent by CIC) and that the exam results will be sent directly to CIC from her office, without my intervention.

How do I send the medical report to CIC on my own then????

I did a 1 year post graduate program which I finished in June 2013. So I should have a PGWP till mid-June. But unfortunately by then my passport was expiring at March 2013. So they issued it till March and added a note saying ""Issued to passport expiry date. Must be renewed for further extensions".

So what I mean is that I wanted my PGWP till June-13 which would give me enough time to wait for the AIP. The 3 year PGWP does not apply to me because my school program was only for 1 year.

Then you should apply for an extension and say the reason was because your passport was expiring so you were given a shortened PGWP. Probably the max you can get is 1 year though because you only went to school for a year. Just put the copy of that note you explained along with your work permit extension, they should give it to you.

When did CIC receive your application and did you send OWP app. with it?

Thank you Alurra71. I have just read the whole thread Yes, it seems I will not have implied status after my PGWP expires.

Do you know if I can apply to extend my current PGWP while I wait for the OWP/PR? Again, my PGWP expires on March 1 because my passport was close to expire back then. My current PGWP has a note saying: "Issued to passport expiry date. Must be renewed for further extensions".

A PGWP that was not extended for the full term can be renewed and extended. Thus, if you qualified for three years but they only issued for 18 months due to passport expiration, you can renew your passport and then apply for a new PGWP valid to the end of the maximum allowed term.
