Hi Ngawang, AIP will be sent to the applicant. Sponsor also receives a letter like this;
This refers to the Application to sponsor a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in
Canada Class you submitted to this office on behalf of APPLICANT'S NAME and family (if applicable).

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent
Residence will be processed separately and the applicant will hear from this office shortly.

But if you use a lawyer or a consultant, AIP will be sent to them.

thank you so much.

Thanks Everyone I appreciate your feedback…..

I know I have heard many things about Canada Goose hubby wants to buy me that one… I also have a North face Vest and it is soo warm so I will take a look at North face.

I know it is always worth it, The one hubby bought me last winter wasn't cheap either and it wasn't warm I'd rather buy something that would keep me warm and it will last.

I will look at that website Line.a… and i'll take a look at the canada goose as well… Anything that keeps me warm…

Tomorisu thanks, I know I bought Sorel last year, they are amazing I owe them my feet hahaha LOL… Getting use to this temperatures… Love it though

I am a Dec 11,2012 sponsor applicant and just received approval. Hope my husband gets a letter of AIP soon and OWP!!!

Congrats @Nigea this is good news :)

Mmmmm $600 jackets :-\ Don't get me wrong, I'd love one and will have one in the future haha.

I'd just layer layer layer.. luckily I live in Vancouver and we would be happy for just a little bit of snow. For cold days back home I used to layer things either under my ski jacket (fleeces, under armour etc) or under my grammy's old parka with a lovely fur trimmed hood. And don't forget ski pants for your legs! I always forget the legs D__D

As I said before I've tried layers, I Tried everything last year nothing kept me warm, hopefully i get use to it a bit. Coming from Costa Rica, you can imagine, I did go on trips before to Europe in fall and I was freezing now that I have experienced winter it's another dimension hahaha.

Also Living in Ontario's Snow belt… holly cow…

But I do love it that's why I want something that keeps me warm to enjoy it more…..

Thank you anyway

Yeah it gets awfully cold. The wind is the worst as well. So windbreakers are particularly important as well. So have a thick layer underneath one of those and you should be golden. Under armour has quite a few base layers as well, or go for something like thermal wear with the heat reflection it works like wonder! Lucky you're in Ontario we get the real cold here in the prairies lol :)

Received AIP and DM Oct 31 :) :) :)

Hello Everyone,

Do I need to worry about this.

On my side of CIC when I check with my UCI it says decision made for sponsorship and In Process for Permanent Residence, and For my Husbands side it says In Process.

What is that suppose to mean?

I sponsored my husband and applied for his PR app at the time of sponosorship.

does this mean they haven't approved us for PR because the immigration officer at the time of our first stage interview she approved us both and gave us both letters of approval? and their working on it?.

You, as the sponsor have been approved and they are now working your husbands, the applicants, PR file. When they make a decision on that, his will also show Decision Made. But it is nothing to worry about.

Hi rifat. As long as I read your past posting, you sent your application for PR in March, 2012 and you were approved as a sponsor on 21st Oct . So, 'Step1' has been completed. Now CIC is checking your husband's medical, security and background. In that case, I think e-cas shows < Sponsorship Application Status: Decision Made, Permanent Residence Application Status: In Process >.

How about it? And when you use your UCI, you can see both info of sponsor and applicant. However, when you use his UCI, only applicant's information is shown.

Thank you Alurra71.
