No DM since July 21th from Mississauga. There were a couple from Vegreville.

Ahhhh!!!!!! So exciting!!!!! I'm also an Aug 21st applicant and almost squealed out loud in the lawyer's office I am in right now (waiting to pick up my client). That would not have looked very professional at all. Congratulations!

Please can anyone provide answers to these questions? I used to live in England(2005-2011) before I relocated to Canada, ever since I have been here, I have not travel out of Canada:

1. Police report is it going to be from England or my country of origin(Nigeria)?

2. Can I go ahead with medicals even though CIC did not request for it in the message I received this afternoon?

3. We actually received 2 separate email messages: Sponsor(eligibility approved) & applicant(to provide original Marriage certificate & Police certificates)


On the humor side, before our application, Lawyer charged us $5,000 but we rejected the price, we eventually filled the forms by ourselves, God has done it, folks hold on to God.

Hope this helps:
1. Police report is needed in England as you lived more than 6 months and from your home country Nigeria if you were 18 years old and above when you left your country.
2. Yes you can, if you ddnt do an upfront medical. Just make sure that your details are written on the e medical to be submitted, your uci. Keep a copy of the paper to be returned to you. It would have like a barcode so if at all it gets lost, you still have a copy.
3. Didnt you provide your marriage cert? Nonetheless just wondering why they would ask for original as what is needed is just a photocopy. They dont give back originals. And in the list it says, photocopy.

Hi everyone! I'm very happy to shared my good news. Got my AIP! I'm august 21 applicant. My sponsor and I received a email message from cic. I'm hoping OPW will come sooner. God is great! ;D
