Screech you can apply for your health card once you have received the 1st stage approval using the letter CIC sent you. It listed on OHIP's website too. Coverage and time starts from the date you received the letters. Unfortunately OHIP asks you for an orignal letter from CIC which CIC does not send anymore. So they ask you to send a letter to OHIP head office in Kingston and they verify from CIC about the authenticity of the letter sent and then issue you a health card.

I am very aware of the hassle of getting OHIP. We had to do all that, sending letter of complaint to review board to get anywhere. Once we gotten letter from review board we applied. My wife has gotten her OHIP card yesterday in the mail. Won't go into effect until this Friday May 10.

To whom are you replying to? Please direct your reply to someone so we know who it is meant for. If you were directing it at me, I can't answer your question as to how long it takes to get OWP after you get AIP as we never applied.

Yes screech I viewed it when I use chrome. However, using the smartphone it doesn't zoom very much unlike the spreadsheet. Could you revert to the spreadsheet format and make it read only, if you fear members messing it up?

I updated my profile with link to excel sheet. When you view it online landing and PR card column will be not be viewable per say as you can see the whole sheet if you download the excel file.

It is the best I can do at the moment. I also added a revised date to the doc title so those viewing the docs know when the sheet has been last updated.

I just received my owp in the mail 5mins ago. I applied for it mid march. After my AIP. Its just a waste now cos i'm landing soon. Those of you wanting to know how long it takes(OWP), it takes about 1.5 months.

Congrats Django. I can't see my name on the spreadsheet. Was wondering who took it off and why? Rusty had it on his spreadsheet. Well, will just be the silent reader then.

Thanks for having a forum like this;

I am a BC PNP nominee, did Meds in may 2012, nothing after that, Got married in Nov. 2012, sent emails to CIC to add spouse, they didnt acknowledge, in the meantime my spouse came to Canada on open work permit in April 2013, she is here with me now, more likean "INLAND APPLICANT"
got request to submit RPRF in March 2013, sent three more emails to CIC informing that I am married now, got a request to submit spouse docs in April 2013, submitted, status changed to in Process on ECAS on 30 April 2013,

1) When can I expect a confirmation from CIC that they have received "COMPLETE APP PACKAGE" of my spouse
2) How much delay can I expect in processing of my PR app?
3) WIll cic ask me that I want to add spouse as a family member in PR app, or my app will get processed first?

Any other info that can be helpful, please advise
