Hey everybody. I hope everything is going great for you!!
i have a question. i want to extend my stay in canada so i filled the IMM5710 for an open work permit. Do i need this CAQ and AMT Numbers to get a open work permit??
and i already work in Quebec and dont have any numbers. just a open work permit until end of june.
the other problem is, that is have to write a date in the IMM from which date my work starts
and when the work is ending. But i have a full time work place with no ending. i am confused. Can someone help? Because i really wanna work after end of june. The other option is only a visitor visa, right???

it will still be one year off you have to be here really long to get the full years off dont worry you will be fine i know i will be on to see hoe it gose but i know it will be ok am praying for you

You will get one year off, you have to be permanent resident for min 2 year. (they ask 3 year but the take off one year if you have been in canada for more than 2 year before you land as a PR.)

Finally i got my AOR email today, i was worried because i read about people who applied after me and received the AOR first, but now im glad i got the email with the confirmation. CIC its very unpredictable lol .... ;D

How did you get the AOR notification? mail, emal, phone?? i sent my application one day before your (Nov 26) i haven't gotten any notification yet and i can not check e-cas because i don't have any immigration document in process.

I got the notification by email and it went to my wife's email as she is the sponsor. I've heard that they sometimes don't even send out notification and other times they do, usually by email.

After AOR, how long does it take for AIP?

I think usually about 5-6 months.

Yeah ! I dont know why i am nervous maybe i am not really good at interview !
But then they ask me to go for an interview and to receives comformation Permanent Resident .
I should think possitive !
