JUST received an email from CIC Calgary. My wife has gotten a formal interview date for 23rd April. Whew, can finally make travel plans. So in the interview we'll get our COPR? What else can I expect? And does anyone know how long it'll take for her PR card to come in the mail? I've heard a bit over 40 days from other people. Sooo happy

I got my DM 2 days ahead of you but I still haven't got my landing date. Maybe because I am in Toronto? Being checking my emails like crazy.


I have question for all, I ordered my notes and I did not see my DM status in the pdf. What are the possible reasons?

Hey all is well, my hubs is out in Edmonton looking for work, I saw your post you are thinking of moving there? We haven't gotten our DM as yet, still waiting patiently lol.

Are you in Toronto? You know now that you have your AIP you can get a health card at service Ontario, the OHIP fees for non residents are crazy and insurance doesn't cover them so it'll be good for you to get it. We were paying $50 everytime my husband went to the doctors.

I am based in Nova Scotia ad already have a valid health card, yes am thinking of moving down to GP Alberta to look for work! Unemployment in Nova Scotia is just to high, will see how it goes soon!

Question: When waiting for letter from local office in Hamilton, will this come to my email same as the previous ones from CIC (CPCV Email Communication) or will they ONLY mail a hard copy letter to my mailing address?
Any other Hamiltonians waiting for their landing interview?
It has been a month since DM now so I'm expecting it soon.

Yes I just calle today and same answer again they just go by the book... I have to wait.....

For those waiting to be scheduled to land at the Vancouver office; what is the current wait time you are being told?

We are now approaching 8 months since Decision Made, and the Call Centre says they can't take action until next month; whatever that means? They already sent a referral to them a couple months ago, and told us the medicals were extended.

Seems like they forgot your Landing Letter, some applicants in 2013 had their landing appointment already...Jesshhh that sucks! Applicants from Nova Scotia,after they got their DM it only took 3 weeks to get the Landing Appointment...
