I am in Toronto. They wrote me that now they have to check your background, medicine and security checks and honestly don't know how much time it would take but as long is in the rang of 8 months max as it says the official site - don't worry.

Yes, I'm in Vancouver, the same letter i got when i received my AIP in Dec 2012. Just a wait ahead i guess

Congrats you already received your AIR and OWP.. We submitted our app. same date as yours and we received our AOR 5 days earlier than yours like what it says on the spreadsheet.. too bad I still haven't gotten anything since then..

I'm freaking out a bit with excitement, but I'm wondering if I'm right about being able to apply now for an OWP and Health card for my husband!!!??

I worried because it doesn't have the words "Approval in Principle" on the letter - just "you've met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor"!

Is that the letter I take to the Ontario Service office for a health card?

Yes we got the same letter, I think that letter is the one that the sponsor receives. There will be another lletter stating that you meet the requirements to apply for PR. The sponsor will get a letter and the applicant will receive a separate letter.
