Thank you guys for your responses. I really wonder WHY the police thing is not acknowledged and the medical is. did anyone find any important information in their foss notes? u guys just ordered it for fun kinda thing? or do u guys get an idea of when the process is finalized with the foss notes?

we submitted our police check and medical with our application back in march and only ever received verification of the medical in ecas. I just assumed this was normal as I have never read about confermation of police check on here or the cic website.

You don't have to order it , but it gives you an idea what's happening.
If you see everything passed in the list except one than you know that one is the only one thing is left on your case,you can not know when they finish the case, it's just nice to know that everything goes well.
You can make sure this way that they got everything they need for your case.

You have a good chance that they let you back in , but there is ALWAYS a chance that they deny you at the border and than you case is garbage.
I wouldn't and won't leave until i landed.

Happy New Year!

Just by my experience I can say that I had traveled in and out during stage1 (before AIP) and now during stage2 more than 5 times. Never had any problems. They had asked me with some proof that I had applied for PR and I showed the AOR letter and they gave six months visitor.

Hi there,

Thank you for your kindness to answer the questions! I have a HK passport (need no visa to visit Canada for 6 months) going to apply inland spouse sponsor. Me as being sponsored, am I staying in Canada as a visitor during the stage 1 process being done if I wanted to apply for an OWP? Do I need to extend my visitor status if stage 1 takes longer then 6 months? Its quite confusing by just reading the cic website. Really thankful for finding this forum!

Am sending in my OWP with my PR application, do I need to fill in what my occupation will be, description of duties, duration of expected employment and LMO or what do I fill in those spot? Since am out of status do I need to pay for the restoration of my status as well with the Family Class PR?

I see that CIC is back to work. The dates have moved. Working on June 243th. Lets hope that we start seeing some movement on both 1st and 2nd stages soon.
