Hi friends,

This is my time line,

I got AIP & OWP on 6th April 2011.
They ask police certificate, I sent & they receive on 30th May 2011.
Not yet second stage approval. Any comments. Thanks.


We received your application for permanent residence on June 16, 2010.

We started processing your application on August 26, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

We received the requested information on March 10, 2011. Thank you for providing the information.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

Hi Guys

I got my second stage approval, they mailed the letter Aug 3rd, just waiting to here from Edmonton Immigration Centre for landing interview date.

I sent in everyting June 28, 2010 and recieved approval Aug 3, 2011, thats not bad considering the amount of people they have to put through the system.

What date did you receive AIP? CONGRATULATIONS by the way.

hubby sent in his medical stuff with our application. Recieved November 4th by Veg. do you think he'll have to redo them ? (if they expire in 1 year?)

BenderS, well as per the processing time its 9-10 months so hopefully he may not do it if approved within the 9-10 month period.

Does anyone know if there's an approximate timeline for eCas to tell you when medical results are received?
My eCas says: "Application received December 20, 2010. We started processing your application February 7, 2011." And that's all it has said since then.
I suppose I'm just anxious to see anything else up there!

yeah i know you are really anxious but going by the processing time of 9-10 month you will likely hear from them sept-oct.good luck

jun2011 resent rcmp next bf when interface is restored

rcmp still pending.



They didn't start background checks until 5 months after aip? and even then they couldn't because the interface wasn't working?

mohamed....why when you get your second stage approval letter not written there when is your interview.i got my 2nd stage approval last aug 4 and its wriiten their my interview in canada place edmonton will be on sept.3rd....

Okay! So I got my letter to let me know my meet the requirements for Permanent Residency! It also asks me for a Police Certificate from England.
