I think I should join this group. I sponsored my husband (Inland),app was submitted may 9/11. Received may 19/11 and transferred to local office Mar 17/12. Had interview July 5/12 where we passed with flying colours. His medical had expired,so he got another. Received a letter on Sept 5/12 requesting that $490 be paid. It was paid and we received a receipt stamped Oct 1/12....now what?? nothing online has changed and the call centre is useless.

It sounds like you're waiting for someone to review your file again and schedule the landing. Have you ordered your case notes yet? If not, do so and you'll know more (30 days from the date you submit the request).

Is thers any news from 2011 Inland application. Its been 4 months since my AIP. Oh my Goodness its very frustrating to wait.. I wish they are back from Holiday...

I received an e-mail from immigration saying they finalized my process and it has been transferred to Edmonton and they will schedule the interview and asking me to pay the remaining 490 dollars. I believe it is DM? and approved?

You really made my day! Im so happy to hear that something is going on from 2011 Inland Application. Its been a while since Ive heard Desion Made. Congratulation. i believe its 2nd Stage Decision Made.I can see on your timeline, youve got your AIP on June, wow CIC working very hard..... i mean very slow to process 2nd stage HEHEHEHEHE. its almost 8 months which is the timeframe on their websites. Lets just hope for more good news....... Good Luck to everyone

It's not a good thing for the IO in Federal Court, apparently this is the kind of thing that gets their decisions overturned. Even though we're going to get refused I think it might be a good thing for us (more likely that her refusal will be overturned) that she admitted she would ignore evidence. I think she's probably entitled to set deadlines but she has to be reasonable. If she had a concern that was simpler, like "I have doubts that your parents aren't aware of the relationship with your husband" that would be simple enough to clear up in a day.
But, her concerns went outside of the scope of our relationship (My husband's "intentions" when he came here in Canada 2 years before we met) and I think it's logical that we would need more than a few hours to address such a broad concern.

We did send in the proof, which was everything she didn't want to look at in the interview the day before because she was "satisfied" and "the interview went well" (in her words). She wouldn't tell us what she needed to address her concerns. But we did send a letter asking for an extension which she ignored before making her decision.

hey pretty lady, be positive....Most of the time it helps...... I dont want to dissappoint you at the end of the day and you will recieve negative news, but everything in this world has a reason.... and whatever it is at the end of the day you will get positive news by having your husband with you no matter what happens.....This immigration thing is really frustrating but this is just a trial to overcome with.. So just try to relax for now, be more possitive and most of all always pray. It may never be the best advice but surely it works......

I got a UNKNOWN call from one of the call centre agent early this morning, He said he was checking if I recieved the AIP letter back on August which is I recieved on end of August. And then he checked my application, so far my files is ok, no more information or requirements they are waiting for. Evrything looks good but he said I should get my 2nd letter by end of April. It could be before April and If on April 29 and I have not recieved a 2 letter I have to call them. Well this made my day, Atleast I know my due date..... Elhamdullilah.....
