inland applicarion

Dear All,

I would like to know, if my wife and daughter come to canada by visit and apply the inland application, do government need my salary up to any standard, if not , are they will reject my application?
besides, they can go to school and work??I am a PR, is it any different to apply family with citizen??

There is no specific income requirement to sponsor a spouse and child but immigration still wants to know that you can support your family and will not end up on welfare.

If you apply inland, they must stay in Canada for the duration of the processing. If you apply for an open work permit for your wife at the same time as the sponsorship, she might get it in about 6 months. Your daughter going to school depends on the school district. They might allow her to enroll or they might tell you that you need to apply for a study permit for minor for her.

The only difference between a PR sponsor and a citizen sponsor is that a citizen can sponsor his family even if he is outside Canada.
