Hope you are all doing well
I have few questions, regarding Spouse Open Work Permit
I have applied for my wife PR under Family Class, ( Eligibility has been updated in the Portal ) she has been already on work permit when I applied her PR, And her WP expired in December and i have applied for SOWP and she received her maintained status, Now she need an Urgent travel out of country ( She will be travelling by Mid February) and she is currently working full time, what are the consequences she might face with her employer and also while returning and what steps we need to follow for any smooth transition at the immigration
And how many days it takes to process SOWP,

Her Maintained Status will end when she leaves Canada. I will defer to others, but suspect that she will need to stop working if she has not received the OWP before returning to work.
