hi friends, i read alot of post on this forum regarding Canadian visas. i appreciate you guys for your comments and helping people. :)

now its my time for some guidance from you guys
my name is sandy and i am from india. i am planning to go to canada on work visa. one of my uncle living in canada will help me for getting work visa. my uncle runs a trucking company in canada and he want to sponsor me as dispatcher for his company. but he dont know the procedure or what documents are needed for sponsoring an employee from other country. will u guys guide me along the procedure from the starting point.

note: i also have a sibling in canada as a permanent resident. (the point, if it helps in making my case any stronger)

please help me friends :)

Your uncle needs to obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion (LMO). He can find information about LMOs here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

As part of this process he will need to advertise the job for at least a month to prove that no Canadian could be hired for the role. Once he has met the advertising requirement, he can submit the LMO application (fee is $275). Processing times for the LMO application are anywhere from 6 - 20 weeks. Once the LMO has been approved, you can then apply for a work permit.

It will be close to impossible to get LMO for this position. If you were a truck driver - it will be different.
@ Regina will u please clarify a bit more on this topic why it is impossible.

actually i have a Diploma in Computer Technician (full time)
and i also completed Post graduation in Computer Applications (but as a Part Time study) so it is not so worthy.
will u please suggest me any other way to make it possible to get LMO.

Hi, My name is Cathy. I am planning to work in Canada together with my boyfriend, but I also wanted my daughter to come with us. What shall I do? Shall we need to be married first before applying a job in Canada so we can go all together?

I need some advise please. thnaks

You need to provide a lot more information about yourself if you want anyone to be able to help. Are both you and your boyfriend foreign workers? Or is your boyfriend Canadian? Do both of you already have jobs in Canada or just your boyfriend? If it's just your boyfriend - what kind of job does he have? What NOC (occupation code)? What skill level?
