I submitted for my Indian PCC from Chicago consulate last week ( in person). My passport was issued in India and they said they will followup with my local police station in India.
My family has contacted the local police station and they said, they don't usually get any such requests.
I have been trying to get in touch with the Chicago consulate both through phone and email to get an update on the status, but no reply.
Their phone just keeps repeating the same options.
Anyone got their PCC from Chicago recently and please advise on how to followup next.
