Indian Passport About To Expire - Citizenship Application In Process

Hello guys, my citizenship application is in process. Applied in March 2023. My Inidan passport is about to expire. PR card is valid until next year. Would there be any legal issues if I don't renew my passport? I have no plans for any international travel in the near future.

Its always good to have a valid passport. From citizenship application perspective once submitted it does not matter.
