I have established this thread in an effort to keep track of all July 2022 applicants for the Super Visa from India- please post your timeline when you get a chance.
Mine is as follows:
Application submitted - July 3, 2022
Biometric linked from previous application - July 3, 2022
Submitted letter of support from Federal member of parliament: July 18,2022
Current status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
I am very anxious of course, because my family had an asylum case back in 2007 which was denied. In addition, two visitor visa applications were consecutively denied in 2019 on the basis that they would not return to their home country of Afghanistan.
I am ready to spend whatever amount of money needed to sue the IRCC for discrimination as my father was a diplomat who travelled all over the world, including to the United States.
